DIY Cheap Maleficent Costume

DIY Maleficent Costume

If you admired the look of Maleficent in the live-action film from earlier this year, YouTuber Linz Mushel has a tutorial on making an affordable yet fantastic looking version of the costume. You’ll need the following supplies:

Maxi Dress
Cape/long cardigan
Black Duct Tape
Black Ribbon/Lace
Beanie
Foil
Headband
Black Poster Board
Small Bird
Small Ball/Foam Ball/Green Ball for staff

My favorite part of the build is the horns and cap which she makes from black duct tape (it really can be used for everything), black ribbon, foil, lace, and a headband. The horns are made from foil covered with more black duct tape. That means it’s both lightweight and cheap.
