Understanding the 4th dimension with the videogame “Miegakure”

The forth dimension (of Euclidean space) is one of those things that can make your brain hurt. I have watched countless videos about ants crawling along coiled plains and examined series of sliced spheres and tetrahedrons to better understand it. In the end I can only grasp at the general idea I am supposed to comprehend, but could never really explain the principal concepts to someone convincingly. The Monty Hall problem causes me this same, well, problem.

“Miegakure” may be able to bridge the understanding gap. It has been in development for a few years now, but the game and trailer have brought me closer to understanding the fourth dimension than anything thus far.

Check out the developer’s full explanation of their game here.
