The impact you will have at NRI … From your first day as Digital Fabrication Specialist you will play an essential role as the leader of the 3D Lab in Boston. Leading discussions with Industrial Designers, Architects, Hobbyists, Movie Studios, etc regarding 3D print projects. Supporting the sales team by demonstrating technical selling skills and knowledge of 3D services that allow you to communicate effectively with prospects and clients; and achieve sales goals. Preparing and creating 3D files for printing and providing client support. Meeting project deadlines and quality standards. Operating a wide array of 3D printing equipment. Providing 3D software and 3D printer training and workshops. A key contributor in the redesign and branding of the 3D Lab in Boston. Maintaining industry knowledge and sales skills by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies/associations. Role-Specific Competencies: 3D Evangelist: You are an entrepreneur who is passionate about 3D printing and its capabilities. You want to tell the world about 3D printing and the all the benefits to a client’s business. Client Management: You easily establish outstanding and long lasting relationships with clients and potential clients. Analytical Skills: You think analytically and creatively to make the most of available data. You generate new ideas, takes risks, propose change, encourage innovation, and solve problems creatively. Comunication: You communicate well both verbally and in writing; utilize appropriate medium for communication based on the situation, deliver effective presentations, share information and ideas with others and have exceptional listening skills. You have the ability to explain abstract / complex concepts to middle & upper management, both verbally and in writing, and influence behavior. Technical Knowledge & Skills: You easily adapt to new technologies; demonstrate required technical skills; use technology to increase productivity. Specifically, you have a 3D printing background, are knowledgeable in a broad range of industry software applications and an advanced user in at least one 3D modeling application. You know the technical aspects of the printing equipment and enjoy teaching. Marketing: Working closely with the marketing department you will provide insight and direction in the development of collateral and campaigns.
