LIGHTBOX / ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR

We are currently looking for a motivated individual to work in the Display Department
primarily with LOW VOLTAGE lighting systems built to UL 48 standards.
Full Time based on experience and abilities.

About the Position:
We are looking for an individual with experience in low voltage lighting and electrical systems to supervise the assembly of our custom LED light boxes and retail displays. This person would oversee the assembly crew to ensure all components are constructed and installed correctly based on pre-designed configurations.
Some design will be required to customize displays based on project needs. Electrical system assembly includes wiring and soldering various types of LEDs, wiring and installation of power supplies, dimmers and switches. This person would also be responsible for testing and certifying the fixtures to UL48 specification and keeping detailed UL records.
Excellent attention to detail is required. Candidate must also be able to communicate clearly with project coordinator and other fabrication team members. Secondary responsibilities include electrical component inventory and electrical shop maintenance.
Technical Skills (must have):
* Prior experience and certification as an MTR based on UL48 specifications or ETL equivalent * Current NEC familiarity * Meticulous and detailed organization skills required. * Must be comfortable working with electrical components and able to solder small contacts. * Ability to operate basic hand tools (drills, saws, ect) * Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve electrical issues * Basic Technical drawing skills for demonstrating wiring diagrams
