We’re looking for a capable, driven Senior Systems Administrator that will join the team building and maintaining the information infrastructure that makes MakerBot Industries possible. Candidates should be influential, motivated and pragmatic administrators of both Linux and Windows environments. We love people who love to make things, so tell us about what you’ve made. Key Areas of Responsibility -Build and manage a critical infrastructure team -Manage 100+ desktop support of a growing company spread across several locations -Design our software and services support architecture -Design our network infrastructure across several locations -Design our monitoring and high-availability systems -Support our virtualized and cloud-based environments Job Qualifications -Management experience in a fast paced and agile workplace -Expert large volume desktop support and directory management -Expert systems administration skills in both Linux and Windows environments -Expert level Bash and Windows scripting -Cisco configuration experience -Perl, PHP, Python and/or Ruby skills -Ability to manage and scale high availability environments -Cloud and virtualization experience -Fanatical attention to detail -Excellent communication skills Bonus Qualifications -Experience with VoIP phone systems -Experience with Chef based automation -Experience with production support -Experience supporting Sage, Magento, WordPress -Familiarity with 3D printing / digital fabrication / MakerBot About Us Founded in 2009, Brooklyn-based MakerBot® has grown to be a global leader in desktop 3D printing.
