Problem with EEPROM

I have one spoke POV but the EEPROM is not working and I could not find 25LC320, in my country they have only 25LC1024. So, my question is can I use 25LC1024 instead of 25LC320?

We have had it working with a 25LC256 viewtopic.php?f=17&t=25759&p=133617

As the post says,
the 25LC256 at one point did work and could store 32 images. HOWEVER it is a hacky EXTRA and not guaranteed whatsoever to function
