Postby tseu » Sun Jan 20, 2013 3:09 pm

Hello , i have a problem with my xoxbox . I bought my xoxbox on internet , she is an opportunity. I can't save my patterns and a friend said to me that it was perhaps the "eeprom" which was absent in the machine. The place where the eeprom should be is empty but there is another flea . I dont know what it is . Have to I buy one others eeprom ? Or others things to do ?
Thank you for your help and verry sorry for my english !

The chip is there; it's the small SMD chip next to the empty position.

i think you have to press DONE at the last step of the pattern to save it to the eeprom

There's the possibility that the chip is defective.

Where are you located?

If you'd be willing to send the xoxbox to Germany I could fix it. If the EEprom is defective I would instead install the standard DIP EEprom.

I've been doing part of the service work for Mode Machines since last year and have fixed about 60 to 70 xoxboxes.
