Hi,
I got an assembled Pi Cobbler with the Raspberry Pi starter pack I ordered and received about a week ago. When I plug the ribbon (only the ribbon) to the Pi GPIO pins, the red LED on the AC adapter blinks and the Raspberry Pi doesn't power up.
Is my Pi Cobbler ribbon faulty?

post up a photo of your ribbon cable - it could be damaged?

Cable looks fine, are you plugging in it right? check the cobbler?

The connector on the cobbler is keyed and you can only plug it in one way. On the Pi, be sure to align the striped edge of the cable with the Pin-1 end of the header.
