Being the season (and living in Canada), I was thinking about embedding some glowy things in blocks of ice. The DA RGB LED Strips are listed as being 'waterpoorf', and the EL seems to be used in mix-use environments and may or may not be waterproof... any idea about whether I'll have success freezing either into blocks of solid ice? Both water with electricity & freezing stresses concern me a little (also I'm a noob), and before I trash some fancy glowy things, thought I'd look for advice. Other electronic components/power source would obviously be kept outside the ice. I was thinking about freezing a block of ice, wrapping it in glow, then freezing that block of ice inside another large block to seal the glowy bits below the surface.
