Conductive Silver Ink Pen - Micro Tip - CW2200MTP

Postby choikwhk » Wed Jan 23, 2013 6:27 am

I would like to know some technical information of the conductive silver ink.
1. The numerical value of electric conductivity/resistant
2. Is there any refill of this pen for sale?
3. If I have my own inks, can I refill this pen with them?

Thanks for your attention :)

Not sure about the conductivity specs, I'll see if I can find that out for you.

The ink reservoir is integral to the body of the pen. They are not refillable.

Not sure of exact conductivity specs but its pretty low if you blob the ink on, maybe about 0.1 ohms per inch?

Thank you for your quick replies. I still have some other questions.
1.Is this kind of silver ink has usually a lower resistant than normal electric wires for electrical appliances? Or they are both negligible so no one cares lol?
2.How about the silver concentration in weight% of the ink? I need a lot of technical information for my research before my professor allows me to purchase it.

The resistance would be higher than a copper wire of similar cross-section. To carry significant currents, you would need to draw a very heavy trace.

The documentation we have for these pens does not discuss the chemical formulation or concentration of silver in the ink. For details like that it would be best to contact the manufacturer directly. Web, phone & email contact information is here:

thank you for the information.
How about the delivery fee? Is it included in the selling price USD$39.95 ? or else how much is it?
And how many days are needed for the arrival after a order is made?

Most packages are shipped within 24 hours. Shipping cost and delivery time will depend on which shipping method you choose. The cost will be calculated at checkout time. See here for more detail: http://www.adafruit.com/shippinginfo/

Have a look at this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHNwJmx6bZ0
is a possible engine made from a naturally occurring high crystalline high diamagnetic graphite and then have a look at this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8PkQrbm2ns
it is for a conductive ink that’s makes the competition look like pants.
You can get these things really easily from
https://sites.google.com/site/thinkinkfactory123
for the ink and diamagnetic graphite. And they are cheap!
