motor with pwm forward and reverse help

OK I purchased an RF 4ch relay board in order to make the motors go forward and reverse. However, The motors are high speed and I need to slow them down. I have 4 PWM available. My question is: Do i need to just put one PWM per motor on the + line? or do I need one on each + and - line because the motor will be reversed?

Hard to say without knowing anything about the relay board. It usually takes at least two relays to do forward/reverse control of a motor.

These days most people use a solid-state H-bridge like the ones in the MotorShield. http://www.adafruit.com/products/81

this is the relay board I found. I purchased it before finding out about adafruit:

The issue is I need to have it controlled by a keyfob which is why I had that board. So the RF portion of the board I have is crucial.


I also purchased the https://www.adafruit.com/products/1096-- received this one much faster but even when there is 9 v on the activated line the motor will not turn in either direction.
