SIK Guide Circuit 7 TMP36

Postby adrianjoss » Wed Dec 12, 2012 7:07 am

Firstly thanks for a great product and excellent shipping.

I am very new to all this and have just completed Circuit number 7, however I seem to get very strange error on my TMP36 reading:-

voltage: 5.00 deg C: 449.51 deg F: 841.12
voltage: 5.00 deg C: 449.51 deg F: 841.12
voltage: 4.36 deg C: 386.04 deg F: 726.86
voltage: 4.14 deg C: 363.57 deg F: 686.43
voltage: 3.68 deg C: 317.68 deg F: 603.82
voltage: 0.00 deg C: -50.00 deg F: -58.00
voltage: 1.16 deg C: 65.72 deg F: 150.30
voltage: 5.00 deg C: 449.51 deg F: 841.12
voltage: 5.00 deg C: 449.51 deg F: 841.12
voltage: 4.87 deg C: 436.82 deg F: 818.27
voltage: 4.25 deg C: 375.29 deg F: 707.53
voltage: 3.53 deg C: 302.54 deg F: 576.57
voltage: 2.49 deg C: 199.02 deg F: 390.24

Is this a faulty TMP36, I have checked and double checked that i have done things correctly. Can anyone advise.

Looks like it is connected properly. Since this is a Sparkfun product, you should check with their support folks.
