Laser cutting holes in project boxes?

Postby mikeselectricstuff » Thu Sep 23, 2010 12:24 pm

How good are cheapo (40W) cutters at cutting holes in ABS, as used for most cheap project boxes from Hammond etc.?

As long as its no thicker than 2-3mm it should cut ok although we noticed that with dodgy acrylic it would leave a dodgy edge.
