I'm very new to electronics, and would like to understand how the mintyboost can deliver 5V to the USB port with only 3V on (two 1.5V batteries in series).
Feel free to link me to an explanation of the related theory, no need to take your time explaining what is probably already out there.

The minty uses one of these boost converters.
