Trucker Andy Proctor is on a one-man mission to bring the haulage industry into the 21st Century.
With a Raspberry Pi – a cheap, credit-card sized computer for hobbyists – he has adapted his lorry to make his job easier.
His cab is now Twitter enabled, and he has put his project online, so others can emulate him.
Video journalist Dougal Shaw spent the day with him, to see how he has put his childhood passion for electronics to good use.
