Skyrim Dragon Priest Costume

Skyrim Dragon Priest costume

Tumblr user Dark Lord of the Fluff is working on Dragon Priest costume from Skyrim and doing some great work making armor from cardboard. The undead enemies have a memorable appearance – and not in a good way because they’re a little scary. This interpretation of the costume is in the process of being upgraded, but it looks solid so far. Here’s what he’s got done:

The armor is cardboard with reptile-print vinyl and hot glue. The robes were treated with a micro-torch to add the holes and rough texture. I recently painted a new set of monster hand gloves (they started out bright green) and made a new circlet to go with the new mask (which I purchased after the papercraft one I made last year disintegrated due to moisture). Next I plan to add some aging and corrosion to the armor and mask, and start work on airbrushing a bodysuit to have more of a corpse-like appearance.
