The Watch Every Mom Wants for Her Kids #WearableWednesday
Next time your kids stand you up for a friend’s house, you’ll be able to track them down with this chunk of color, as spotted on Tech Gyaan. This stylin’ smartwatch, FiLIP 2, is from AT&T. It’s considered a “smart locator with voice” and is good for kids in their tweens.
The watch has some improvements over its original design, coming from more heavy duty real life testing. The band has been contoured to fit the wrist better, making it less likely to get snagged on a massive backpack. The latch allows it to be worn open or closed and you can get size spacers, which means you won’t have to buy a new one next year. The screen has been encased for durability, so clanging it on the fence at recess won’t be an issue. Finally, another nice tidbit is that the mobile app has been improved, so you can expect a more intuitive experience. Check it out live on the video — I actually like the cuff worn open.
