Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Returns Savior Cosplay

Cosplayer Fantalusy has made several costumes based on characters from Final Fantasy games. One of her recent ones is Savior from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. She made the giant sword from wood (WIP picture below), and while that is impressive, I particularly noted how she reused boots for cosplay. This is a great example of how you can be resourceful, use what you have on hand, and avoid spending more money:

Goodbye my old winter boots and hello my new Lightning boots.
Now I call myself ‘garbage recycler’…because I just grab whatever I found in the house: a pair of old worn out boots, I wouldn’t let them go if they didn’t have broken inside! I recycled the belts came with a hand bag (still don’t understand why they make replaceable belt extensions since girls never carry fashion bags like school bags) Fake chocolate color leather I previously own, then put everything together I got this pair of battle boots. Took one evening to make. The first layer was painted with wrong color – ah..I should never trust the light in my room so I repainted everything – luckily I found that out before making the other side.
