Following on from the success of our ‘Introduction to Raspberry Pi’ workshops throughout November last year, we are running the same sessions in February but in one day – Sunday 23rd February 2014.

With your host ‘The Raspberry Pi Guy’, aka Matthew Timmons-Brown, you’ll learn what the Raspberry Pi is, how to use it, program it and even make it control motors!

Matthew is the guy behind the successful You Tube channel ‘The Raspeberry Pi Guy’ and with over 18,000 subscribers he’s the perfect person to introduce you to a world of possibilities with the Raspberry Pi.

If you’ve bought a Raspberry Pi and don’t really know what to do next, then these workshops will be invaluable to you!
Spaces for these exciting hands on workshops are limited, so booking is required to ensure your place.

Morning Session – 11am to 1pm
What is the Raspberry Pi?
An introduction to the Raspberry Pi, what it can do and how to set it up.
Using the OS
Introduces you to Linux and shows you the basics needed to navigate around the operating system.

Afternoon Session – 2pm to 4pm
Programming the Pi
What is programming? An introduction to Python and how to program on the Pi.
Get Connected
How to make the Raspberry Pi control motors and sense switches.

These informative, practical and inventive, hands-on after school workshops are ideal for both students and adults alike!
