Michael Overstreet is one of the most passionate humanoid robot hobbyists and bloggers out there in the maker community, presenting about the DARwin-Op and other platforms at Maker Faires, Robo Games, and other venues with a mission to introduce more people to this field.

This past year he has focused his efforts on finding desktop 3D printing solutions to make these amazing little robots more affordable to produce — and more hackable — so that more people can participate in what can be otherwise quite an expensive hobby. The logic of how the typical humanoid robot parts fit together has been considered from the perspective of injection molding, so many of the parts have had to be adjusted/redesigned to suit this evolving new medium.
