From the mail bag!

You guys are GREAT. I have purchased a Raspberry PI and an arduino board from you guys and I have been working several of the tutorials as money/time permits. This stuff is fantastic. I was having problems with getting the 1.2 backpack matrix to work, so I figured out how to get it going (renaming the file names) after looking at the code. I took basic in college and we were still using punch cards and traveling to the basement of the engineering building where a hand would come out of a hole in the wall and take your cards and about 4 days later, you would get a print out of what you tried to do. I have been working the light programs in the PI and the arduino uno (version 3).

My theme for Halloween is going to be Alice in Wonderland. Your eye/mouth moving program is going to be fantastic for my talking caterpillar. I am going to make the body out of cloth, since my wife is the sewer in the family (mainly quilts).

I just really want to thank everyone in your company/forums. I built a
sound shield, I still can’t get it to work, I guess it will just take me going back through the forums and figure out how to get the thing working.

I am fairly sure of my soldering; although I have not soldered anything of importance since I built my parents color t.v., which was a Heathkit
project; which shows you how old I am.

Thank you EVERYONE.

-Gene
