NEW PRODUCTS – USB DIY Connector Shells – Type A Male Plug & Type Micro-B Plug – Make your own USB connections without slicing apart a USB cable and soldering those thin wires inside. These DIY “USB shells” are available in USB A plug, micro B, mini B (coming soon) and USB A socket (coming soon).

Each shell comes with a two-part snap plastic shell and a proper connector with easy-to-solder tabs.

  1. Could be amazing if you could have female micro and usb to make all combination of cables.

  2. Is there such a thing as panel mount usb connectors? Paul at pjrc.com stocks a nice little cable for panel mounting but it woukd be cheaper to buy the connnectors.
