PhotosFromMaKeyMaKeyWorkshop

Here are photographs from a MaKey-MaKey workshop for adults in Space Studios in London — as this “invention kit” continues to reach wider and wider audiences:

MaKey MaKey is a kit that lets you turn anything into a controller. No technical expertise is needed, letting your imagination run wild while you quickly prototype ideas and interactions.

What will you do and learn?

You will work in groups to design and implement an interactive art installation using found objects and a MaKey MaKey.

What do you need to already know?

No previous knowledge is needed. A huge imagination and tendency to play around with different objects is highly encouraged.

What do you need to bring?

Though not necessary, you are welcome to bring your own computer.

What will be available during the workshop?

You are welcome to bring your own computer or can use one of the iMacs available in the SPACE Media Lab. We will provide MaKey MaKey kits and a selection of objects to be used in your project.
