What it’s like to wear Google Glass (video) #WearableWednesday

Google Shows Off Glass in New Video, Puts Out Call for New Buyers on PCMag.com:

Just when the idea of an Apple iWatch started to sound cooler and more practical than Google’s interactive glasses, the folks in Mountain View have unveiled a Google Glass commercial and new user program that makes the device look even more tantalizing than before.

Google has launched a new program called If I Had Glass, which is designed to reach a new Google Glass demographic. For the first time, the company has posted a video (below) that shows off what the interface within the Glass system looks like. Those familiar with the Android operating system will instantly recognize the slick, translucent pane aesthetic, which allows the Glass user to take photos, shoot video, send audio messages, view maps, use voice search, and get directions with real-time graphic overlays.

Google’s new program invites the public to submit a message starting with the text “#ifihadglass” via Twitter or Google+ describing what they would do with the product if given the opportunity to use it.
