Thingiverse Gets a Redesign and New Dashboard Feature

Thingiverse just overhauled their design and introduced a new dashboard feature.  This is a great feature that makes it much easier to see when your favorite 3D designers have published new stuff for you to print out.

Check it out, and be sure to follow Adafruit!

  1. I’m not really feeling the new redesign. It’s slicker, but the images are really large, there is too much white space, the CSS leaves the page wider than most, the explore section on the front page has content from their “Customizer” app which creates clutter and non unique content.

One other feature they need for 3D printers….the ability to pick which printer an “I made One” was printed on. Also, what printer/settings the original was printed on. I find my self asking that question a lot while browsing. Anyway, dashboard is cool and same with collections.
