KidsCash lets kids manage their own money in a fun, safe and educational environment. Kids learn how to spend wisely online, save, and even donate to their favorite charities! KidsCash teaches kids how to be independent and responsible with their spending habits and gives parents peace of mind.
We post a lot of educational sites for kids in the world of STE(A)M – Science, tech, engineering, art, math – but there’s a lot of kids that grow up that did not get the chance to learn how to manage money, this is an interesting site that is taking on that challenge. Part of being a good maker, is also being responsible with how and what we spend things on and save!

I registered my two kids (12 and 8) when KidsCash launched. They have already purchased a gift, but most importantly, they are already beginning to save. I ask that each month they put some amount to donate too. They both choose a different organization that they will donate at the end of the year. My husband and I started with a one time allowance and only when the kids nagged, we turned on the recurring allowance – but in a very low amount.

It was great when I signed my kid up! She is only 7 but is super into it! We have already signed up for the recurring allowance. Of course not super high since her chores aren’t too heavy. I still figure she is learning to save for larger items that she can’t afford yet. I am also having her put in 10% each month to charity. If anything KidCash really helped my as a parent start the money talk!
