Hello – my name is Collin.
If you’ve used Circuit Playground or seen any of my Make videos, then you’re familiar with my work. If you’re familiar with my work then it’s kind of like you know me – so no introductions necessary. btw – Great to see ya, howya been?
Adafruit’s kits & tutorials played a big part in my introduction to the world of creative electronics and subsequent technological adventure-journey which I continue on today. I’m proud to tell you that I’ll now be helping Adafruit do the same for many others.
As Creative Engineer here at Adafruit, I’ll be wearing a few different hats – including a classy software development bowler as well as a sweet video production helmet (ooh – note to self – make video helmet). Also a magnifying visor for soldering. because they’re awesome.
In any case, we have much good things to come – so expect to see me popping up quite a bit around these parts.
Talk soon!

Awesome! I have to say – you’re the reason I’m into electronics. I’ve watched your videos over and over, they’ve helped me so much, I can’t even put into words how much I want to thank you. You don’t know me, but you’ve set me on a path and I can’t thank you enough!

Very cool news. Congrats to both Collin and Adafruit. I became obsessed with hobby electronics just earlier this year, but I am a huge fan of both Adafruit and Collin Cunningham. I use your Circuit Playground app daily on both iPhone and iPad, and I have watched your Circuit Skills videos more times than I should admit. As Kathy said, thank you for everything you’ve shared and I hope you have a lot of fun at Adafruit and produce many more great projects together.
