Some Apple products marked as being ‘Assembled in USA’

12.12.02-Imac America

Some new iMacs marked as being ‘Assembled in USA’.

Apple may be taking some of the burden of assembling the new iMac off Chinese supply partners by performing parts of assembly in the U.S., as a number of newly-purchased standard units are showing an “Assembled in USA” notation usually reserved for made-to-order machines.

Interesting development.

  1. Thats actually an iMac for the Swedish market. The text: apparaten skall anslutas till
Jordat nätuttag is swedish. it means the device must be connected to a grounded outlet.

    That’s also strange.
