  1. Will this work with through-hole components? I guess the carbon is a pretty good conductor, and with TH-components there is no point in a non-conductive barrier layer.

  2. Hey! This is awesome, thanks for the post! RenĂ© is correct, I haven’t tried it but I imagine that the carbon layer will not do any good for PTH components. I recently made boards from twill weave fiberglass as well which has a similar look to carbon but is and insulator (and has roughly the same dialectric strength as FR4) and depending on your resin, it can be nearly as strong.
