Here’s an interesting lifelogging camera project currently on Kickstarter that combines GPS, timestamping, and some cloud storage/organizing tools to take care of much of the admin-side of such an effort automatically: Memoto. If you have tracked other life logging projects over the years, you’ll be surprised at the minimalist footprint compared to all the heavy gear typically necessary to “do this right.”
From Memoto:
Have you thought about how much of life goes missing from your memories? Many fantastic and special moments become blurred together after a while and it feels like life just rushes by, too fast for us to grasp.
We at Memoto wanted to find a way to relive more of our lives in the future – and enjoy the present as it happens.
Of course I’d also be curious about a Raspberry Pi lifelogger that one might hang from a gold chain…but that’s just me.
