Becky is our Director of Wearable electronics here at Adafruit, she’s also a close friend. Today we’re celebrating women in tech who inspire us, so besides Ladyada who I get to work with on a daily basis, I’m also lucky enough to work with Becky. Her energy, creativity and passion for teaching and sharing is incredible. Thank you Becky for being part of this adventure with us at Adafruit – Editor’s note, this is Phil writing this post on behalf of all of us at Adafruit :)

  1. And I was planning to sneak this one in just before midnight — Phil beat me to it! Becky might be a co-worker, but she is still my hero. A darned good maker, scientist, crafter and filmmaker all wrapped up in one tiny high-energy package. She picks up new techniques and skills in the time it takes most people to google for a how-to for the solution. And I have noticed that so many people I have encountered at MakerBot, Adafruit, MAKE, and beyond have been drawn into the maker movement after catching one of her videos or tutorials.
