Software Engineer Needed / Adafruit Jobs Board

Software Engineer: Computational Geometry/Image Processing / Adafruit Jobs Board

MakerBot is looking for a programmer specializing in Computational Geometry, who also has experience with image processing. The right person will be a strong team player, have project management skills and is used to working in a deadline driven, structured programming environment.

Job Qualifications
-Impeccable communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of users
-BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or another applicable subject preferred
-3+ years professional C++ experience (or equivalent)
-Expertise in Geometry Processing / Computational 3D Geometry
-Demonstrated Project Management
-Tight deadline & delivery experience
-Excellent team player, accountability and attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications
-Familiarity with 3D printing or MakerBot
-Previous experience working on Polygonal Meshing applications
-OpenCV programming
-UVC Video Class programming
-Point Cloud Manipulation Tools (such as PCL)
-Familiar with 3D Printing and Toolpath Generation tools (such as Skeinforge)
