What is a Game Jam?
The point of a Game Jam to rapidly prototype video game designs within a constrained amount of time. Those who participate are able develop and present new and interesting concepts to use in the future.

The low down
Participants compete in an manic 48 hour race against the clock to create an experience exploring alternative game controllers. Designers, developers and creatives of all sorts team up to make projects for the closing exhibition. Games will be judged and secret prizes will be awarded to the top teams. What is a Game Jam?
The point of a Game Jam to rapidly prototype video game designs within a constrained amount of time. Those who participate are able develop and present new and interesting concepts to use in the future.  Judges will be local representatives of academic and artistic fields of game design: Katherine Isbister, Kaho Abe, Matt Parker and Nick Fortugno.

Where and When?
The Jam will kick off at the Game Innovation Lab at 6PM on October 119th. Participants will then have 48 hours to finish their project and present it to the judges at 6PM on October 21st.  Jammers will have access to the Game Lab’s resources and facilities during daytime hours.
