Arduino Workshop – Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EDT). Guan writes -
Hack Manhattan, your friendly neighborhood hackerspace in the Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan, recently expanded into a larger space in the same building and is organizing its first formal class, an all-day Arduino Workshop on October 6 taught by Robert Diamond, who has previously taught Arduino classes at Alpha One Labs. This class will introduce participants to physical computing with the very basics of blinking an LED and pushbutton inputs, cover motor control and conclude with a robot hackathon where teams will compete to build the most awesome robot.
The fee is $150 without the parts kit and $205 with parts kit. There’s a discount for Hack Manhattan members, so stop by for our weekly open house on Tuesday at 7:30pm to learn how to become a member.
