Thank you Adafruit community for helping us with the naming of the Circuit Playground friends. After much thought here are the names we’ve settled on. We’ll be adding more components soon, stay tuned!

Capacitor - Cappy, Cappy E. Lectricfield
Red LED – Ruby!
Green LED – Gus, New yorker, LED, sounds a bit like Richard Feynman
Blue LED – Billie, sings the blues
Transistor – Connie, short for “silicon”
555 timer IC – Hans, named after Hans Camenzind
Resistor - Mho!
