Anyone know what CNC machine he’s using as a base?

At first I thought it was the DIYLILCNC v1 that was demonstrated at Siggraph a few years ago but he said it is a MIT based system. Anyway, the DIYLILCNC is opensource and they just released plans for v1.0.2 over at http://diylilcnc.org/ You can also buy kits from them.
