Updates: What’s new in the Adafruit Learning System…

Screenshot 16

Some nice updates today to our tutorial system! The Adafruit Learning System – First, we should mention we’re currently in beta of our new tutorial system – Justin, Tyler, Daigo, Ladyada and Phil are all working on making the best tutorial system in the world. It’s a huge undertaking for us, but we want to provide the best for our customers and for everyone who wants to learn electronics.

We’re doing dozens of updates per week, today we added PDF support. Each tutorial has a PDF download on the left side, and they’re not just any ole’ PDF, they’re nicely designed and nice looking. There are lots of other updates, we’ll be talking about the tutorial system on this week’s ASK AN ENGINEER video show and future blog posts. Explore it and enjoy it as we build.

  1. Oh thank you thank you thank you. I often find myself bringing up your tutorial pages simply for a quick reminder when I’m about to knock up something new, and I’m always worried that I’ll be offline or your site will be down, etc. I’ve dumped the peripherals I stock into Evernote documents, but PDFs will look a ton better.

    Wow !!!
The new learning system is great, real pretty.
Do you intend to open source it?

Why don’t use the cream colored left bar as a hidden menu bar (add a “>>” sign), thus enabling to browse out of the learning system, and maybe upgrade the whole Adafruit site to this new look.
