Discover Arduino with Sparkle Labs. Mon, Jul 16th, 2012, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm – NYC

We will begin with learning what a microcontroller is and then move on to the programming environment. After we have everything working we will start programming Arduinos, moving on to more complex programs. We look at how electronic components connect to the Arduino and program the Arduino to read sensors.

This class in for anyone who wants to learn Arduino. Including, artists who want to add interactivity, inventors who want to prototype, future mad scientists, software people that want to learn hardware.

Students will need to bring a laptop. I will provide a list of components we will use. You can bring your own or buy them from me. You will also need an Arduino as well as a USB cable. If you do not have these they will be available for purchase.
