B Male to B Female - This handy USB extension cable will make it easy for you to enclose a device that has a B type port. We think this would be most handy when putting an Arduino in a box. The jack half has two mounting ‘ears’ with M3 screws installed, 1 inch / 25.4mm apart. Can be used with box walls 0.125″ to 0.25″ wide. If you have a thinner-walled box, simply swap out the M3 screws for shorter ones. Entire cable is 11.5″ long.

A Male to A Female – This handy USB extension cable will make it easy for you to enclose a device that has a A type (USB host) port. We think this would be most handy when putting a Beagle Bone, Raspberry Pi or Mintyboost into a box. The jack half has two mounting ‘ears’ with M3 screws installed, 1.25″ inch / 29.5mm apart. The screws can be put on from the back for ‘reverse’ mounting if the box thickness is a problem. Entire cable is 11.5″ long.

  2. Thank you, thank you thank you! I’ve been looking for something like these! I like mounting a USB hub in my projects, connected to the Arduino, as well as a USB stick containing the Arduino IDE and project source files. This should make that quite a bit easier.

  3. These would be useful for a water-resistant if not waterproof case.
