Hello everyone! I’m Tyler Cooper. Today is my first day as an Adafruit Creative Engineer, and I couldn’t be more excited. Some of you may have seen some of my work over at Coobro Labs, where I worked with my brother to make the Coobro Geo. The first part of what I will be doing here is building new kits and breakout boards, representing Adafruit at Maker Faires and other Maker gatherings around the world, and working with educators and groups to help excite and educate young makers. The other part of my job description is top secret, but we will have more to share very soon!
If you are going to the Bay Area Maker Faire, I will be inside the Maker Shed building demoing the Coobro Geo and a new kit that we will be launching at the Make Faire. Please stop by and say hello. I will also be giving a presentation on the Maker Shed stage on Sunday, May 20th at 4:30pm. I will be talking about how I got started as a Maker, and the tools and products that allowed me to get where I am today. You can also find me on Twitter, and Google+.
I am thrilled to be working for such a great company, and with such amazing people!

Hello, Tyler. As a fellow Twin Cities Maker, I am surprised I had not heard of you before. But, then again, we are a whole internet world, aren’t we?
Anyway, glad to know you are out there. and congrats!
