    In Canada, we had a small tempest a few weeks ago over the revelation that we are charged enormous amounts of money for lenses and frames. In fact, the cost of frames (pick your brand/model) is well under $100. The cost of lenses substantially below that.

    I was interested to see that many of the steps in the above process are automated. Many of the manual stations seem to require very little in the way of fine motor skills.

    I also wonder whether those people are Italian or if they are citizens of a low cost labour zone.
