
Wearable Computers Are the Next Big Devices, Report Says – NYTimes.com.
The wearable computing wars are about to begin, says a report released Tuesday by Forrester Research.
The report predicts that consumers will begin experimenting more with wearables over the coming year, specifically around health and fitness, navigation, social networking and gaming. This new theme among consumers will hasten big tech companies to begin creating wearable computing products.

It is like paying a lot of money for a watch to have it only last one or two years on your arm.
Warranties don’t cover wear and tear and devices aren’t made to last because the companies want you to buy a new device or buy insurance.
Locking and unlocking devices waste a lot of time and I stress out when I misplace my phone because contacts, pin numbers and other things are in my phone.
Two of our salesmen had electronic device with phone numbers and they broke. You have to write your phone numbers down because you will not make a commission if you don’t.
My car also got broken into by thieves looking for GPSs. A serial thief got caught in my city selling something like 45 GPSs to West Kensington pawn shops a month.
