The Aurora Swarovski LED Dress by CuteCircuit via Mike.

The Aurora Dress is a spectacular piece of haute couture which was designed by CuteCircuit exclusively for an opera performance hosted by Swiss company Breitling.  Designed with a daring plunging neckline adorned with hundreds of Svarovski crystals, this unique evening gown creates a stunningly elegant silhouette.  Made with silk taffeta and chiffon, the Aurora Dress includes LEDs technology that creates many different patterns, from sparkly colors to an incredible fall of rainbow.  CuteCircuit designers have taken their inspiration from the spectacular colors and lights of the Aurora Borealis… Aurora, as the Roman goddess of the dawn who flies across the sky every morning to announce the arrival of the sun.

  1. Very little tech details available. How is it powered? Must draw a lot of power and for stage show they *might* be able use cable. Otherwise there’s a big battery hidden under there.
Did they use there own wiring and controllers or strings like yours?

    Inquiring minds want to know!
