Sound activated EL wire glasses

Stronger Glasses @ ch00ftech Industries via HaD.

Here is a pair of light up glasses I made for New Years Eve. The fashion design belongs to my friend Jordan. You can see more of her work here. The electrical design is my own and you can read all about it on my blog here.

  1. Instead of making a custom circuit, this can be done by using the inverter from one of those sound-activated “equalizer” T-shirts (aka T-qualizer). All you have to do is make a connector for the EL wire then connect it to the inverter. The inverter and panel without the T-shirt only cost about $7 at dealextreme.
