PART FINDER FRIDAY – Navigation switches

Pffnav

Navigation switch are multiple switches in one. They’re more expensive than a few tact switches but they are also much more elegant. Our favorite is the ALPS series in SMT and THM

We like this one so much we have it in the shop!

  1. I would LOVE to see a couple of knob and/or knob-bezel combination choices for these units. I am working on a some projects right now that would really benefit. The ideal knob would look nice, even in a DIY project, and if it could be designed to prevent switch damage caused by over-travel, that would be the best!
There are so many cool commercial gadgets out there, but it seems hard for the DIYers to use them without their projects looking kludgey.
I place a high value on the aesthetics and durability of things that I make, and this would be a great step.
