Does the MintyBoost work with the iPod 4S and iOS 5? YES! Every time there is a new OS or phone we make sure to test right away, we’re pleased to report the MintyBoost is happily charging our iOS 5 phones and the new iPhone 4S.

on a related note, if you check the apple forums there seems to be some battery issues with iOS5 in general too – lots of people are saying the battery life is less with iOS5 due to all the location based services and net polling with icloud.
our 4s was going down 10% per hour with siri when we had a location based reminder on.
Alright then I’m gonna buy one I was just waiting for this

However upgrading to iOS 5 doesn’t seem to make the 3GS any more consistent with MintyBoost.
And in case anyone is keeping score: running iOS 5 seems much MUCH quicker to consume battery than when I was running iOS 4 on the same device.
