NEW PRODUCT – 2.1mm to 1.7mm DC jack adapter. For Chumby Hacker Board enthusiasts, we have an adapter that will let you use any off the shelf 5VDC regulated supply with a 2.1mm DC barrel plug.

  1. The next evolutionary step for this is a universal barrel jack adapter.

    Half a dozen jacks connect to a box in the middle that lets you flip polarity, with half a dozen plugs coming out.

    The deluxe version has a voltage and current draw meter.

    I know there are “universal” power bricks, but the ones I’ve used don’t always have the power rating I need. Everybody already has a giant box of wall warts. But the odds of the plug, voltage, current & polarity matching what you need seem only to be about 1:10.
