    So… people have been putting extra lights that plug to cigarette lighters in their cars for 60 years now? Wow.

  2. Back in those days the passenger had the job of vocalizing the directions!

    As far as using the cigarette lighter socket for 12V accessories, it is my hope that some standards body would come up with a connector (or connectors) that was more appropriate for the devices that we use currently. The existing connectors are HUGE and we have so many things to plug in.

    I’m think a gps module, 2 servos for x an y and crosshair overlaying
    A roadmap. What do you think, perfect digital to analog gps retro style
