Well, it’s a great time to do hardware startups.

So, if I were just starting with a hardware startup, I would do a couple things. I would start getting up there and networking a lot. With hardware startups and then also if you’re even just thinking about it, start going out to all the tech events in your city if you are in New York.Are there hubs for this? Is it the typical California and New York kind of Boston or whatever?

Where are the hubs for this?

It ‘s pretty much San Francisco and here right now[New York]. I mean, if you’re talking open source hardware, it’s here. Because we’ve got, like Adafruit, and Buglabs and us, and then out in San Francisco you got the Fifth Bed, Orbotix, Sifteo Crew… Actually Orbotix is in Colorado, so where you are shouldn’t stop you. Just get into it.
