  1. 446kWh/year for a TV + recorder?

    Who buys something like that. You might as well throw your money out of the window right away. But the solution is quite simple. Don’t buy that crap and re-condition yourself to use the power switch.

  2. @robert: No, 446 is *just* the typical set-top box and DVR, the TV is another 180kWh/year.
